Anniversary and Birthday

Before I went on my crafting break, one dear friend commissioned me to make a wedding anniversary card and a birthday card for her hubby, as she is due to deliver her baby anytime and won't have time to go shopping for cards.

In my mind I had already the perfect stamp to use for this occasion :)

Supplies: Stampendous Cling Ranunculus Field stamp, Hero Arts Sentiment, White Embossing powder, Distress ink in Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar and Barn Door, Pink cotton twill, Gold organza ribbon, Pink Divine Twine, Bazzill cardstock, Heart shaped stud.

On the other hand, I was brain dead on how to make a masculine birthday card so I decided to make a cute one instead. I hope the blue card base will count as masculine, LOL. Maybe if her 4-yr old daughter love it too, the daddy won't mind getting a cute card for his birthday...hee hee... ;)

Supplies: Penny Black Hello Friend stamp, TCP Sentiment stamp, Copic markers, MME Bright Dots scraps, Nestabilities Wonky Rectangle, Pop Up Dots, Jenni Bowlin Soap powder inkpad, Memento Tuxedo Black Inkpad

Just when I thought I was fit enough to start on my crafting again, my body did not want to cooperate *sigh* But at least I managed to clean up 50% of my crafting area which was left in a mess since 2 months ago, LOL. Hopefully I'll get to clean up the other half and get creative again! :)

love both of your cards...the anniversary card is gorgeous...such sweet colors. masculine cards are difficult aren't they? I do think that the blue base counts:) Hang in there!!!

awesome card...must have taken quite a bit of your time to complete them. The blue card is definitely appropriate for boy/male...cute!
Hope you are coping well and have pleasant days ahead. Take care.
